Coupeville is on central Whidbey Island, and can be approached by either the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry near Everett, WA, or from the Olympic Peninsula by the Port Townsend/Keystone ferry. Go HERE for more info. about ferry schedules.
From the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry: Board the ferry in Mukilteo, arrive on Whidbey at Clinton, drive north on the main highway (525/20) approx. 30 miles to Coupeville. At the intersection of the highway and main street, turn right at the stop light and go to 9th St. - offloading of canoes takes place at the Capt. Coupe Boat Launch.
From the north:
From I-5 follow the signs for Hiway 20/Whidbey Island. Just east of Anacortes, turn south on highway 20 and travel approx. 20 miles to Oak Harbor, crossing the Deception Pass Bridge. Coupeville is 10 miles south of Oak Harbor, staying on highway 20. At the intersection of the highway & main street, turn left at the stop light and go to 9th St. - offloading of canoes takes place at the Capt. Coupe Boat Launch.
